The first Sedgman Reconciliation Action Plan has been launched.
The RAP is a strategic document that is endorsed by Reconciliation Australia and includes practical actions to drive our contribution towards reconciliation.
Our RAP commits us to meaningfully and practically contributing to the important work of reconciliation and relationship building with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
To help us achieve our objectives in employment, education and partnerships, several initiatives will be rolled out for our people. We will continue our active recognition of significant events such as NAIDOC Week and National Reconciliation Week, and introduce cultural awareness training.
Our RAP artwork, Connecting Across Country, represents Sedgman’s history and our connection to the local communities in which we work. It will serve to remind us of our RAP objectives as we continue the journey of reconciliation.
